Just a note, you have uninstall the original version before installing version 1.1 for the changes to happen.  I was a little disappointed at first, but after uninstalling and re-installing things seem much better.

I honestly can't tell a difference, FLC still doesn't work, the plane still feels extremely underpowered (it barely climbs through 25,000ft at a very light weight), and the fuel flow gauges on the MFD still only read 411 lbs/hr/eng.

The MFD FF readout WAS about 4500 lbs/hr per engine. Perhaps they have now gone overboard in the opposite direction? Won't have a chance to compare the SP to Version 1.0 until tomorrow...

Jim,

Disregard my comments, I've edited my post.  Apparently you have to uninstall version 1.0 before installing version 1.1.  That took care of the problem for me.

Sorry for the confusion.

Regards,

John

Uninstall it like I said above - its way better but I am no expert on this bird - the only thing I am not sue about is my physical throttle position in regards to onboard switches, cant seem to figure out how to get it to adhere to speeds - I must be doing something wrong post a separate post on this

I just tried to fly an an ILS approach and I could not get it to follow the glide slope effectively at all. Will try some more tinkering to see if I wasnt setting the AP correctly.  Lord knows there is plenty of documentation now that they added that pdf. (Sarcasm on that note)

Believe it or not, worse than before.  Climb out is still horrible (130) max at just under 2000 ft/min.  Can't fly an ILS (went to wrong runway), keeps calling out "2500, 2500" regardless of the altitude, and the approach button still does not work.  I hate to complain but this is getting a little annoying, especially when we were all awaiting some fixes.  Oh well, I have many other fine aircraft that do work.

Interesting. I definitely had issues in Version 1.0 with poor climb performance and inaccurate vertical modes on the autopilot, but one thing that DID work well was the ILS. I flew two approaches to two different runways, using basic autopilot modes (heading select and altitude hold) while flying the intercept. The aircraft acquired and tracked the localizer and glideslope just fine on both occasions in approach mode.

I will try the new version tomorrow to compare.

This is no better than before.  Could someone please lay out in sequence how you set up the FMS flight plan, and what exactly you push on the AP (NAV or HDG) to follow that path.  This thing goes wherever it wants, not the intended course.
