May 8, 201511 yr Author I couldn't resist the temptation, so I purchased the P3D version of the Piper Cherokee 180. Good man yourself Christopher, great purchase. This is my favorite GA plane *period* Lewis We are in the presence of greatness, thank you Lewis, having a ball  I also wanted the Spitfire and the P-51 but am going to opt for ther DCS versions. Very nice also and you cant go wrong there either. For me anyway, its all about flying the old stuff long distance from Airport to Airport.
May 8, 201511 yr Poppet, I imagine if if I wanted to speak like you I would say: Whale Oil Beef Hooked Really fast.
May 9, 201511 yr Glad you guys got to grab some aircraft. Unfortunately I'm like Ron - I've already got the whole collection. But I'm happy to cheer from the sidelines. Speaking of cheering - my sunburn and I are just back from the Washington DC VE-Day flyover... which means I'm inspired (to put it mildly) to jump into an A2A warbird. But which one...? It's a problem owning them all. But it's a problem I can live with... Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery

May 9, 201511 yr That Cherokee looks awfully tempting.... :wub:However I'm very confused...(my normal state of mind nowadays)There are no less than 7 differing prices for this aircraft - one on the front page 'for FSX'and 5 further prices on the P3D page 2.Having seen that both P3D versions - Academic and Professional are identical. which one to choose ?I have the Professional version of P3D.That $37 (£26) front page price looks fine, but will that particular version work 'in all respects'with my P3D (Prepar3D Professional v2.5.12942.0 ?How does it compare with the $59.99 (£41.85) version on p2 ?I see also that the 'Other Site' are advertising it at $79.99....RegardsBill i7-3770K 4.2GHz, 16GB, GTX 970 4GB, Win 7 64bit, LG 38GL950G, CH Yoke/Pedals, T.16000M, GenX UK, UK2000 EGGP & EGCC, AeroSoft Gibraltar, FSC 9.5, FSL A320X, 737NGX A318/A319/A320/A321, A2A Cherokee/JF Hawk T1/Dino's EF2000, Iris Grob Tutor

May 9, 201511 yr Good man yourself Christopher, great purchase. This is my favorite GA plane *period* Good buy Chris you wont be disappointed This is my first ever A2A Simulations aircraft. I have been thinking about purchasing one of their planes for some time, and this sale persuaded me to take the plunge. I don't exactly fly my planes "by the book", but I have always wanted to try at some point, and I get the feeling that the A2A Cherokee is a good place to start.
