Marc, full names in the PMDG forums please; and please one post only.  AVSIM is always slow to post a new thread, just wait for it.

Has PMDG77X been working and just started this or is this a new install that never ran?

The BEX error can be caused by anything, literally, and the PMDG dll just happened to be in the way when it did happen.  Google BEX error and you'll see what I mean.  Check your video drivers, if you just updated maybe roll back to previous. Try running without the antivirus software by exempting FSX directory and sub directories.  Finally, PMDG support is the best place to go for this specific problem.  I've only seen it posted as a problem here a couple of times a year so you have something catywumpus in your system, and it is fixable.

What about your antivirus program?  I have to ask because you didn't mention.

I had a BEX problem once a long time ago and it was caused by something totally unrelated to flight simming, so my help is limited.  Your trouble ticket with PMDG is probably your best bet.
