Italy's photoscenery, where I can Found?

Recommended Posts

Hallo, I'm searching for Italy's photoreal scenery free for my VFR flight, but I foundo only photoscenery of the aeroportual areas and not of the whole Italian territory.

I found this link (http://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx/italy.html) but many photoscenery are obsolete.

Are there free recent scenarios of the Italian territory (not only airports)?

Thank you and hello

CIao Pietro,

I tried several freeware offerings from various sources, but these were not so good. Resolution was very low. The good ones are from OzX, but they have only Toscana and Liguria, plus some of the small islands. See here

When it became avialable I went ahead and bought the MegaSceneryEarth offering. It is far from perfect, colors are off and the coastlines are not well done at all - but it covers the whole peninsula in decent resolution, including Sicilia, Sardegna and Corsica.

The full scenery on 2mt or 1mt can be found here

It's divided by grids  from the SIRX project map i believe.

And some more limited scenaries instead can be found here

The problem with this link and other links pointing to the same scenery

http://fsxitaly.mygamesonline.org/index.php/download

seems to be that it only allows limited downloads per month. So one has to be patient I guess and try one's luck at the beginning of each month. But the scenery is excellent and worth the efforts

I don't know, i downloaded the whole  Tuscany two files at the time (limited by my adsl), but it went rather smooth on that.

Either way, i suggest you start with a small scenery and see if it's worth it for you. For me it was :)
