Crossing the Atlantic Ocean with the Tu-134

Recommended Posts

Sim: FS2004

Textures: FS9Evo

Sky/Clouds: HDEv2

Sceneries: FlyTampa (TNCM), LatinVFR (TXKF), TropicalSim (LPLA), Aerosoft (LPPT)

Plane: SCS v.2.0

Due to loosing too much time with a hardware problem some weeks ago, I decided to cross the Altlantic directly from the Caribics vie Bermuda and the Azores. Crossing the Atlantic - this has really a certain significance for aviators. Today, it's only about finding legs short enough for the Tupolev, and this is really easy compared to the Pacific Ocean some months before.

We start at St. Maarten TNCM after spending some days at the beech; our first leg will lead to Bermuda TXKF:

Second leg: Bermuda TXKF to Lajes LPLA. The longest leg across the Atlantic, but comfortably within the range of the Tu-134.

Arriving over the Azores at night:

The next morning. Unfortunately no 727 around here, but...:

Approach to Lisbon

Seconds before the first touchdown onto continental Europe for five months (since departing Makhachkala at December 11th 2014).

Well known liveries - almost feeling at home

Before I finally come back to Leipzig EDDP where I started my world tour, I will take a loop around the Mediterranean and Black Sea...

Have fun,

Loving your journey! I plan on a Lufthansa Cargo journey similar to you. Thanks for the photos.

Don't blame for my name, my parents were hippies and met in Woodstock

Thanks guys, for still having the patience to follow this journey.

Yes these are the moments I love, too: You have added an AI plane/flight plan some years ago but forgot it, because there were no newer flightplans available or even the airline went bankrupt, and then you see the plane just sitting there and you are happy.

I have to admit that I never added some great types of planes to my AI traffic, the Tristar being one of them, as well as DC-10s. Have a whole bunch of DC-6s and, yes, B727, instead. And of course the Russians (will spot them in Tbilisi and Kiev next time).
