P3D and Saitek x52 Pro

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Im currently using the Saitek X52 Pro joystick to my sim. But i cant seem to figure out the most optimal and best settings for the sensitivity.

This is what im using now:

Ailerons axis: sensitivity - 64 / null zone - 1
Elevator axis: sensitivity - 64 / null zone - 1
Rudder axis:  sensitivity - 64 / null zone - 1

But i doesnt feel realistic. Does anyone out there have the same joystick and found a good setting for it? Thanks :)

Try this:

Ailerons axis: sensitivity = 95 / null zone = 7
Elevator axis: sensitivity = 95 / null zone = 7
Rudder axis:  sensitivity = 95 / null zone = 7

Hi,

If you have a registered FSUIPC-and it is so good no simmer should be without it-use the axis assignment and calibration of FSUIPC then disable controllers in P3D.

I have no connection with FSUIPC or Pete Dowson,I'm just hightly impressed.

Hope this helps

I've been away for sim flying for awhile, and just starting witgh P3d and the C 172 from A2a, I started experimenting with control settings, and being a licensed pilot, I pretty much know if it is correct or not. I wound up taking the advice of someone at A2A, and put the axis at almost 100, and the null zone very low, maybe 2-4. Feels like real now.
