Anyone using GTN 650/750

You can also go for an tablet solution. That works via extended desktop so that you can drag the 2D popup to a tablet of your choice. I did it once with my iPad. Its cool but i like the VC integration more.

iPad as in Apple iPad, like an apple Mini?? Or an android tablet?

G' day Pedro,

sorry cant help you with the network thing. I guess it is not networkable.

To log into the sim forums i think you have to be a registered user.

But feel free to ask further questions :)

Hi Poppet,

I tried it with an ipad mini and a software called splashtop. It works via wifi.

Hey Mickevj are u aware if 750 can be installed in a separate computer..using network..same way i am running ASN...or just drag the 2D display to my second monitor running P3D (main computer)....

No, since it is an "in-process" gauge it cannot be run on a separate computer, unless that computer is also running FSX/P3D and you use software that will allow the two sim versions to be synchronized*.

To display the popup on a separate monitor, simply right-click on the top border, and choose "Undock", then drag the new window over to your other monitor.

According to Flight1, weather is not supported.

Suggest you visit their support site for more details.

There is a noticeable delay.

Splashtop itself, although it works, makes it kinda convoluted to work. It'll basically make your iPad a new monitor but because the resolution is different it doesn't scale that well and you need to zoom in, especially as you want it vertical on your iPad but monitors are generally horizontal.

Pedro, Flight1 has no control over what Garmin does in their trainer package. What we get in the sim version is no more and no less than what is in the trainer.

Since Garmin didn't include support for weather in the trainer, I'm not the least bit surprised we won't have it in the sim either.
