Supersym:  If you haven't already, from the "download manuals"  section download the HW-FFB-737/HW-FFB-GA Force Feedback Flight Yoke manual. The 16 page manual  will tell you everything you need to on how to set your yoke up,configure the software and maintain your yoke..Hope you get it operating soon.  Bill

Hello !

I want to open a topic on the A2A forum for users of Flight Illusion Yoke and accusim.

It seems that we are a lot we can't use this yoke with a2a planes.

I asked Flght Illusion support,  they don't answer very quickly but it seems  they begin to work about that..

I never post on the a2a forum and I wait that an administrator allow my count to post ...

Let me know here if you have the same issue ;)

I think If we are a lot, the 2 team of Flight illusion and A2a will find a solution !

To clarify the issue we're seeing, the Flight Illusion yoke (I have the HW-FFB-737) won't control A2A aircraft (I've tried with the PA28, 172 and 182). The Flight Illusion yoke doesn't show up as a normal game controller in Windows like a regular joystick or yoke would. It doesn't show up in the simulator control settings window or in FSUIPC. I'm guessing because of the different way A2A aircraft are built (simulating the systems, flight characteristics, etc.), it's not picking up the data that the GSA software sends.

In fact the yoke control the behaviour of the plane. But the exterior view and the view of the yoke in the virtual cockpit don't change with the move of the yoke.

It's only the visual aspect wich is not related with the yoke

Hi Jim, I had an Elite Simulations Flight Control system for about 6 years prior to this Flight Illusions one. The Elite yoke would not operate with A2A planes either.  You are correct, the planes will fly but without the flight controls moving.  I use the Carenado versions of the planes now.

Are you up and running with your yoke OK now?

I will use the yoke wihtout the view of the yoke in the virtual cockpit of a2a planes. All the other planes are ok for now ! (carenado and standard)

I didn't try with PMDG

Personally I feel that is far too much money for far too little in the way of features.

+1

wwdavis do you feel this yoke look a little cheap ?

How much buttons do you have  on the yoke ?

Not for $1,800.00 each.
