Fatal Error CTD

Recommended Posts

Greetings all, I would greatly appreciate anyones help in decifering what this fatal error means and how I can fix it.

I am running FSX Acceleration with updates SP. I have moved sliders down thinking it was a memory issue. I am running 8 gig memory, Nvidia Geforce GT 540M with drivers 340.52. Let me know what other information you may need.

The CTD happens when I try to exit the fligh to go to the main menu or exit FSX all together.

Delete d3d9.dll

If no d3d.dll file exists in the application folder, the standard d3d.dll file from the Windows system folder will be used.

Thank you Slip-Stream. I will give this a try.

Take care,
