Radar & Wobble at cruise & Runway lights

Recommended Posts

In 1.5 I cannot turn on the radar. I get no idication when my mouse is over on/off. When at cruise the is wobbling / Yawing back and forth. Also why do the taxi lights not light up the runway. Is there not suppose to be an idication light the AP is on? Not a good start.

Strange, I don't have any of the problems you described. Running P3D 2.5, no wobbling, runway/taxi lights are working and AP lights up too. This is how landing + taxi lights look for me (awful weather, but the MU-2 still did a nice landing):

About the radar: It is only a static model in the GPS and GTN 750 version as far as I know. It only works with the addon WX500 in the GTN750 + WX500 version. Or you can try to add Rolands nice ASN radar as I did, read here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/466357-asn-weather-gauge/?p=3239638

What radar are you using? The default is a placeholder only

Wobbling at cruise is usually indication that yaw damper isnt on or of course, the weather is just pants.

Taxi lights do light up the runway. You have probably got an issue with your installation. Suggest uninstall/reinstall and create a new default flight.

There is indication on the pedestal right next to the Yaw damper light. If you haven't got either on it both explains the advice earlier and reinforces the need to reinstall.

Quite agree, not a good start.
