Cannot hear switches after updating to the latest version

I updated today my T7 to the latest version.

After the simulator loads and the plane is loaded on the long panel state mode, I try to turn on\off the Flight director but I cannot hear the sound.

I check every button in the cockpit, no sound.

Should I try to run the installer in the repair mode?

This is usually an issue with your operating system, or FSX general sound settings. Check both.

Already did, nothing out of the ordinary.

The problem began after the update from SPc to the current version.

Did you check the sound settings in the FMC menu PMDG SETUP > settings?

 

We really didn't mess with the sound at all between the last version and this one, so anything going on here is going to be coincidental. This is the first report I've seen regarding sound.

Found the problem, the SOUND OUTPUT was set to the wrong sound device.
