June 2, 201511 yr When I was using Steve's DX10 fixer v2.7, I had no problem with my RealAir Duke Turbo v2. After updating to v2.7 of the fixer, it wont allow my NAV/COM and Transponder to turn on, and if I turn on the cabin lights, all my gauges go blank. Very strange, and I can't figure out why it's happening, when it didn't do it before updating my fixer. Johnny Rosario
June 2, 201511 yr Commercial Member I replied on your other thread with some questions. To ask another are these flight 1 gauges that you have issues with? If so it's likely a legacy issue, what settings are set in the legacy dialog? My FSX Analysis Blog
June 2, 201511 yr Author Hi Steve, First of all, thanks for replying. No problem with Flight1's gauges, it was only the RealAir Turbine Duke v2. However, I did experimented with the fixer controller settings, and I was able to get my gauges to work again. What I had to do to make it work again was, uncheck the "8Bit Texture Fix" under the "Other Options", "Misc" section. That seemed to be the culprit in this case. By the way, I'm glad you came up with this utility, I think it's awesome, and overall, I'm really enjoying it. It's one of those things you must have if you are flying FSX. I wouldn't fly without the fixer, the same way I would fly without TrackIR or EZdok Johnny Rosario
June 2, 201511 yr Commercial Member Hi I do like it when problems get fixed! The diagnostics button would have warned that the 8 bit fix was set. It's only intended as a quick fix for legacy aircraft prior to converting any 8 bit textures using the toolbox. I can add a note on the Duke as a specific instance so thanks for letting me know oh and thanks for your kind words Steve My FSX Analysis Blog
June 2, 201511 yr Hi John, The "8bit textures should always be left off" according to the manual, its a option for testing something or other I read it recently. Seb Sebastian Hernandez
