Which Small Business Jet should I get?

Recommended Posts

I got an email back from the developer just now though and the Saitek stuff isn't compatible so I'm out. I can't click around with a mouse the entire flight.

Does the Multiplanel work with LINDA?

I believe so, it is on the bargain forum and it is only $26 I believe, not sure how much it usually is.

For reference....I purchased the Lear Jet for $20.97 during their December sale last year.  5 bucks more is still a good deal if you want to purchase today.

To the OP, I'd save your money and wait for two upcoming gems.  Check this out:

The Eaglesoft Citation X 3.0 and Citation XLS+ 3.0 are coming and will both likely be P3D compatible.  These are the aircraft you're looking for.  Nobody does biz jets like the Eaglesoft guys.

Having an airplane to fly this summer would be nice, those airplanes are a long way away. Later this year if that.

I'd love to have one.  We now have several business jets with poor systems.  In therms of the decent ones, I've got the Mustang tuned to as good as I can without help from Flight1.  It works pretty well as long as you write your flightplan in stone and don't monkey with the SIDs and STARs once it's in.  I could probably make the landing nicer but what's the point if it only works with FSX.  I'm of a mind that I might give the Eaglesoft Citation X another try...see if I can crack through the hardware issue again.

As the guy building the XLS+ model I can assure you that nobody wants to see it finished more than me!

PM me when you get round to setting it up, I will help where I can with the mouse macro's.

I got everything working through those without to much trouble.

Robert,

We all appreciate your efforts, Eaglesoft has done some great bizjets in the past and I'm sure this one will be exceptional also. I'm sure it is no easy task! Best of luck!

Looking forward to it

Cheers

Martin

Ok...maybe you can help me get to the bottom of why they didn't work.  Thank you!

Thought I'd give an update.  Last time I had the Citation X I couldn't get my hardware working.  I just repurchased it and, this time, I tried to make a mouse macro and it worked.  I have no idea what would be different.  It's a little bit quirky but it's working.  It'll be interesting to see what it's like to fly it with hardware.

That's good news. I have not purchased it yet.

Are you liking it better this time?

Are the FPS good in FSX?

Good flying (no FSX crashes)?
