Not technically possible due to the way our e-commerce system works.

 

The file version is on the installer.

 

And if your version is out of date, you'll be notified in game.

Actually I never got notified in-game.. I have to keep coming here to see if is there any update. I know the file version is on the installer but there is no point to re-download the file just to check the version... I mean, how can I know if the version in the download area is the same I already have? Maybe you can just set a description for the file version..

Assuming your firewall is not blocking things, you should be notified via the Config Manager or in game.

 

Also, the version number momentarily flashes on the Main Panel when you open it.

 

It's also in the installer Intro screen.
