More than lot's of fun, I have actually converged towards it in terms of the best flight dynamics, superior, IMO, to what DCS World ww2 series are presently offering, and with an ambiance that is much more appropriated, including AI, scenery, etc....

 

It will take ages to get a proper ww2 scenery for DCS, EDGE is constantly being delayed, but even worse, the latest releases, namely the Bf109 K4, leave a lot to be desired, and the fps drop online is a PITA.

 

With Il2 BoS everything is smooth, scenery is great ( even being still the Winter variant... )  AI is great on ground, graphics inside and outside SUPERB, including the skies, weather effects much better than in DCS, with a turbulence and wind variability modeling that makes FSX and X-Plane look pale, even more DCS... and, last but certainly not least, the feel of being there, and the overall quality of the physics models...

 

I still keep my option for DCS only for the helicopters - those are indeed great!
