FTX Global Vector navigation data is incorrect

Recommended Posts

The navaids do not change the runways. You really don't know what problems you will create for yourself using later navaid information for a sim designed to run on earlier data.

What navdata in your opinion does not change? FTX Vector or P3D World Navaids Packages? If I install the vector for example changes in the numbering is not true in the port ebbr,if you disable the folder FTX_VECTOR_APT everything is ok.

FTX Vector contains many of its own data entries. Some work with the sim, some work instead of it. UNLESS the navdata specifically affects FTX Vector you are going to have a mish-mash of old and new data. And the new data does NOT change the physical numbering on runways.

I doubt your software is implementing those changes, much less for the tens of thousands of airports throughout the virtual world.

What you need to decide, in the absence of a navaid update that specifically invokes FTX Vector, is whether the increasing inaccuracy is actually benefiting your simming. Our sim world has constant mag variation.

Hope this helps.

I do not know much English, I find it difficult to grasp the meaning of such long sentences; (

What should I do so that I can use a vector, and he did not adjust my navdata...? Differences with the board fmc and the base AIRAC 1506v2... For example: i use Vector:

I disable file apt_ebbr.bgl and everything is OK:

this is very bad, without the use of the latest database navdata I have constant problems: differences with the board fmc and the base AIRAC 1506v2...

You were told this by the developer in March, April, and only again in June.

Why would you think we can do what the developer cannot ?

I tried this, I strongly:

What did ORBX say when you asked them ?

and on the forum orbx said today: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/99432-ftx-global-vector-navigation-data-is-incorrect/?p=899086 :)

unfortunately there is no such information ...

I think their answer would sound like this: eliminate the use of P3D World Navaids package .... More than whatever they did not help ...
