fsx-ms Unable to land Boeing 747 without stalling

I am trying to land this Beoing 747-400 since yesterday. Here's the screenshot. The runway is right ahead (you can see the red/orange light just ahead of airplane nose)

 

I am running on auto pilot. Most of the time the airplane stalls. Twice I managed to land it on the land besides runway but it crashed probably because nose was too low or may be too high speed.

 

What is the appropriate speed, pitch, altitude for this approach? At what time shall I use flaps and landing gear?

 

Sometimes the plane is either too high or at high speed. If I keep speed low then it stalls.

You need to land with almost no fuel left.  Fuel at landing should be somewhere around 30,000 lbs not 355,000 lbs.  This will allow you to land at a much slower speed...around 150 knots.  Give that a try and report back.

I did a few tutorials and one of them included Jet plane but I failed at most of them.

It's much harder when you try to fly a jumbo jet while sitting on the tail, too

Go into fuel and payload and reduce the fuel to about 30000 lbs split between the wing tanks. When you land make sure you are using either flaps 25 or 30 and your airspeed should be about 150 kts give or take.

If you failed landing the aircraft in the tutorials, why would you think you'd be successful in the 

 

free flight mode?  You had better practice the easy ones before taking on the challenge of the

 

Heavies!  If you want to practice landing the 747, then I recommend flying the  "Quito Approach" and

 

the "Monsoon Landing"  Missions.

I gave it to a friend and he landed the plane in first attempt. Although not on runway but a little sideways but still he was able to do it. Then I did it and I was able to do it finally. Didn't dump the fuel.

Even better yet, learn to fly and land the default Cessna - including an ILS approach - before even thinking about the 747. The principles are the same and you'll save yourself a lot of grief.

 

But, if you insist on the 747....fuel 25K pounds, flaps 20 and airspeed 185 to the outer marker. Then flaps 25-30 and airspeed 145-150. Gear down at 1200 AGL. That won't guarantee you'll land it OK but it sure won't stall anymore.....

Landing with that much fuel is very unrealistic and plane isn't designed to do it either thats why your having issues. Flight Simulator isn't an Arcade game its relitivly realistic so it must be flown in that kinda manner. You need to learn the basics first then progress to bigger planes and finally payware airlines that have every system modeled. The 747 that come with FSX is nothing like flying the real one.

In your screen shot, your flaps are still fully retracted, which would certainly explain why you are stalling. In a 747, the flaps need to be set to either 25 or 35 degrees before you reach the runway and begin to flare for touchdown
