June 22, 201510 yr Commercial Member I heard about it this AM; no other details than the basic info you've shared. My condolences to those with family / friends lost. This pilot looked to be very fortunate to not only escape the mid-air crash, but to also have walked away from that landing. He came to a pretty sudden stop once those float supports hit the runway.
