Pinlifter,

I own that Macau scenery and it is AWESOME.

Cool screenshots!!  I did not know that Cathy Pacific used 773s for short flight from Hong Kong to Macau.

Aharon

Try the approach to 16. A lot more fun.

What would I expect to see during runway 16 approach?  Do not want nasty surprises  LOL

Aharon

Thanks Aharon!  I fly the planes wherever I see fit.  I'm not one for real world schedules, but close is good enough for me

Now on the other hand, I wouldn't fly a Cathay 773 from Miami to New Orleans, nor would I fly a United Airlines 737 from Manila to Singapore!

There's an RNAV and/or VOR approach that keeps you over the water, away from the city (for noise abatement I assume), and then you make a sharp left turn onto final. Kind of Kai-Tak-ish.

Here's a video I found of it:

I'll give runway 16 a shot next time Michael.  Sounds a little like Kai Tak, but without the buildings B)
