737 pmdg for P3D

Recommended Posts

hi...

I m very angry and disappointed about my last purchase of 737 pmdg for p3d. this is the second one I bouth, the first for FSX and it was perfect, now the one for P3D cost 25 euro more (80 euro) and the graphics of the PFD and navigation display, is veri bad. the terrain shown in navigation display is almost imperceptible. I already set it, but I want to know if somebody has my sensation. bye

The graphics settings in P3D are completely different. These will require different settings than FSX's settings to get similar results, but given how LM has implemented them, it's impossible to get it exactly the same. All it requires on your end is a bit of playing with the settings to find the best match for you. This has nothing to do with our product.

P3D really is a different simulator. It's about time the community realizes that. I get that they come from a common ancestor (FSX/ESP), but the community is doing everyone a disservice by lumping them together as if they're interchangeable. They truly are not.

You're going to have to configure it all on your end and mess with the settings, honestly. There is no "best performance" setting for all computers, and it's not likely you're going to run into someone with the exact same system, and even less likely that the person with that same system has good settings you'd want to copy.

Start with everything maxed out, and then pull the sliders back until you get better results. As for your blurry issues, FXAA, HDR, and a few other settings in P3D can affect this. Try turning those settings on/off until it goes away.
