What motivation....I watched the whole video...and it goes much more past just her learning to fly.  After watching that vid...I thought...problems....WHAT problems do I have....NONE to moan about...

I looked at my intact body...and had a bout of sheer appreciation....in what all of us every day, take for such granted....wow.

Some people refuse to be defeated. This young lady is very inspiring and I'm sure she is a joy to be around. Good for her!

I remember reading about and watching a video of her story back in 2008 when she received her PPL. She has only become more inspirational over the past seven years.

That is truly amazing. I marvel at the daily tasks she does with her feet, but when i saw the intro headline of flying, its just truly phenomenal shes figured out rudder and yoke control with only feet!

Well Dave, she actually flies an aircraft that has no rudder pedals, the 1945 Ercoupe. The rudder is auto-coordinated with the ailerons...

Oddly enough, it seems to have had the distinction of being the only aircraft to be sold by Macy's of all places! The price was an amazingly low, low $2,994 + tax... :LMAO:

FR. Bill - It would be an honor to meet you in person. Remember the old days FS02 doing xml?  Anyhoo, my itinerary  is Mon (Maybe, but not looking good) , Wed for sure, Fri for sure. (All dependant on WX) So, if you  happen to run into W/C bound humanoid going faster than the John Deere tractor enroute it "could be" me.

That would be nice. If you should see an ancient, overweight, wizened and shriveled up priest scooting around in a mobility scooter, that would probably be me... :Big Grin:
