Looking for Business Jets

Recommended Posts

Lionheart Lear 24.

The Carenado jets are a work of fiction and everything else is an FSX port over.

A huge shame but developers seem frightened of this sector, Eaglesoft has some on the drawing board and will be worth waiting for.

I have all but given up waiting on a complex Business jet.

Although that Carenado Citation 550 WITH the GTN750 is quite good. Without it - about as bad as the Hawker.

I'm really falling in love with the GTN750 the more I get familiar with it.

I have managed to get one decent business jet in Prepar3D .  The S550 Citation II from Carenado can be modified by integrating the GTN750 and closely following the instructions provided by Bert Pieke.  If you purchase the aircraft and the GTN 750, send a PM to Bert.  He will provide  the full instructions needed.  Once complete,  you will have a very nice business jet beautifully designed by Carenado and fun to fly with Bert's modifications.

BTW, thank you,  Bert Pieke for your  fantastic work on the S550  :)

EDIT :  Vic - you beat me by 2 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! At my age, beating anyone by two minutes is a big deal!

Great minds and all that....

And yes!! a BIG bravo to Bert Pieke for his work and willingness to share.

The Hawker with Berts GTN mod is pretty good. I know I know not very realistic - but the gauge fits surprisingly well in the mfd

I hear Flysimware is doing a Lear 35! They do fantastic systems modeling and hopefully the textures will be better

And ya - I'm anxiously awaiting the Eaglesoft C560

Ryan, the textures on the MU-2 really are not that bad when you spend some time in the VC, it surprised me as I nearly gave this one a miss based on screenshots.

22 hours on the Hobbs now and it does grow on you.

Initial impressions aside, the mu2 quickly became addictive for me. For my longer range stuff the mu2 is awesome. 254 hours and counting on the Hobbs!

Another vote for the Lionheart Lear. It's pretty simple and doesn't really do complex navigation, but that's how the real thing is. It's incredibly fast, but easy to fly and looks fantastic too. It does incorporate some realistic features that represent the quirks of the real Lear. Make sure your tip tanks are empty on landing or you'll break the wings!
