Against my better judgement

Well, I decided to drink the Kool aid and install the Hotfix 4 patch against my better judgement, because I read that the only thing the patch broke was ASN and they supposedly made a patch to make it work again. I installed the patch in P3D which replace a whole bunch of files etc. Now to install the ASN patch, I click on the exe file after extracting it ( I know someone will ask if I did this) and it pops up a message saying " A valid ASN version must be installed to apply this update". I ran the exe file in admin, tried several times, and no luck. So now my previously perfectly working P3D has no Active sky weather.  :mad:

Seems like you might've accidentally downloaded the update for the FSX version of ASN.

 

If not, I'd just try fully reinstalling ASN and see what happens.

OK, I see it now, I didn't scroll down far enough on the ASN download page and did download the wrong file...    :blink:
