Cannot set Altitude to 35100 via voice command

Recommended Posts

For some strange reason, I cannot set the MCP altitude to 35100 using a voice command.

I have tried  "Set altitude 3 5 1 hundred" but I get ignored. (despite the words being correctly interpreted and displayed by the recognition software)

"Set altitude 3 5 zero hundred" gives me 35000 and works fine as does "Set Altitude 3 5 thousand"

Am I to use the "Set Flight Level" command instead ?  as this appears to work.

Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

Setting such altitude doesn't make any sense. Why should you set it at all?

I'm pretty sure "Set flight level 3 5 1" works OK.

Anything above the transition level should be set by FL not altitude. I think most TA in China are 3000m (9800ft)
