Problem: Red Shadows

Recommended Posts

OK, the story seems to continue. I have DX10 up and running now, but I'm having another issue now:

I guess this is not how it's supposed to be?

I have this issue on any airplane, standard as well as addon.

Matthias

Found out this is related to "Toned Shadows"- once unticked, everything looks normal. But still something I should report, I guess. ;)

That is bizarre. It looks like there is some aspect of bloom going wrong as well. The lighting calculations use a set of sky textures to get the colours, is the effect there all day?

Can you turn bloom off in fsx, enable colour toned shadows and tell me what it looks like?

The effect is there all day (and night). If I turn toned shadows off, the bloom distraction also goes away. I will test to turn off bloom and enable toned shadows later on.

I use REX soft clouds (not involved I guess), together with Pablo Diaz' HDEV2 sun and sky textures.
