Amazing bird! Can´t wait to get the PMDG 747-8I  . I hope that we´ll see some news about the progress. Robert is actually really silent.

Greetings from Germany,

Maurice Kroll

Just reading about this bird today, Boeing is facing a hefty repair bill due to a design flaw in the wings. Not a good couple of years for Boeing design wise.

Keep in mind that the A380 had similar issues in its wings when it was first launched. The 747-8 surely is a great airplane but it really doesn't have a bright future...at least on the PAX market. I read/heard somewhere that the current GenX-1B and -2B engines will be updated with the technology from the upcoming GE9X at some point in the future, providing the 787 and 747-8 with even greater fuel efficiency.

With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
