Video Comparison: FTX Products vs GEX P3D+UTXv2 vs Default Textures+UTXv2

Recommended Posts

I made a series of comparison Videos at Salzburg/Zell am See (maximum settings)

and Munich (simmershome.de settings)

More or less they are sync and can be viewed separate or, what i recommend, parallel with multiple windows/displays

FULL COMPARISON PLAYLIST

Enjoy :)

Great series! Thanks for your effort! For me personally, FTX is the clear winner. Texture- and colour wise, it simply looks more real. The 3D effect, especially over urban areas, is really good as well. Combined with Open LC, it looks even better and more convincing!

But it has been very interesting to see it directly compared, thanks again!

And FTX with UTX Europe v2.01, blows them both away. The beauty of FTX and the sharpness and clarity of UTX=Unbeatable.

Is it possible for you to make a third vid : FTX Global Base + HD Trees + OpenLc + UtX 2 ( utx lc placed above OpenLc in library, so utx 2 urban + vegatation will show , all the rest will be OpenLC )

Thanks in advance.

There are actually six videos ;)

Yes! When i have some time, but possible soon.

Really want to make a FTX UTX Crossover but wasnt sure what FTX Products should i choose and in wich order to place them in the Scenery Library.

I have a question as well, anybody knows how replay files can be edited?

Tried to replace Summer with Winter in a HEX Editor but this did not worked out.

+1

UTX 2.1 Europe/US with FTX Global textures and OpenLC "sandwiched" is an awesome combination indeed.

If you use UTX with Orbx Global can you use the orbx night lighting system without having to add lines to the scenery config?
