CDU date (?) is incorrect

Hello fellow members -

 

 I noticed that the date in my IDENT-page of the CDU is wrong. (PMDG 747-400x)

I took a screenshot, but i can not figure out how to post it here.

 

In the IDENT-pages right column under "active" it stands May08/Jun04/08.

 

 (On the left column it stands "nav data" airac-0805 - and i must say i suspect the months and dates under "active" might not have anything to do with the exact date today, but i`m not quite sure - for all i know that might be the version date for the CDU`s software or something)

That's the AIRAC effect dates. It's saying the waypoints, airports... etc. data in the FMC database is valid from May to June of 2008.

 

If you want to update the database for it to say 2015, update it with Navigraph or NavDataPro.

I'm not using Navigraph (I use NavDataPro) so I'm not sure. But looks like it.

Yes. You can buy AIRAC either monthly, or buy mutiple months, or a subscription. If you want up to date always, buy a subscription. I buy a month every now and then
