Very nice shots. Jim, I work at DFW. It's almost ridiculous how much land this airport takes up. It extends quite a ways beyond the runways in all directions.

Delta used to be my hometown airline.  Didn't initially like this livery (it replaced the Widget-classic-best Delta livery), but I warmed up to it when the Delta-flot (or wavy-gravy, take your pick) came out.  

Ugh....what were they thinking?

I concur with Mike....DFW is huge (largest in airport-owned land if I'm not mistaken).  14 runways, 5 terminals, an insane amount of gates, 2 tram systems, major toll road that runs between the terminals, enough terminal construction to drive even the most patient driver (picking up/dropping off passengers) completely insane...have I missed anything Mike? 

Oh yeah, 100+ heat for days upon end...compounds of some shoe-types melt to the tarmac!

            You've hit all of the high points, for sure. Rumor has it that they are going to build Terminal F south of the alpha and bravo bridges on the Terminal D side. American wants that too.
