Heading bug only moves in 10 degree increments

Recommended Posts

Using default aircraft, the heading bug only moves in 10 degree increments - making fine adjustment impossible. Also the VOR only moves in 10 degree increments, and the autopilot altitude selector ( the plus and minus hover adjustment) only moves in whole thousands of feet.

There are keyboard shortcuts to change the rate of change, to "Increase selection slightly" it's Shift + =, but what does it mean by "Selection", I'm using the 2D panel,  just turning the heading bug - I've not "Selected" anything?

It's a newish install, but was working fine up to recently,

Any thoughts?

Eugene

Try enabling "fix control acceleration" in Fsuipc

Thanks Glynn, that certainly seems to have helped.

The heading bug and VOR  OBS movements are much tamed - the autopilot altitude adjustment can be a bit erratic - up a thousand in one click, then down 2 hundred in another, but with a bit of perseverance I can get to where I want to be.

Many thanks for the advice.

Eugene
