How is Drzewiecki Design Warsaw City 2015? (for FS9)

Featured Replies

On Simmarket there is Drzewiecki Design Warsaw City 2015 for FS9. Does anyone have it? How is it? I remember seeing that the FSX Warsaw airport scenery they made had problems and UUEE had problems at first, so I want to know how this scenery is before I buy it. The screenshots look real nice.

I have the previous version which is (just) OK. Although the update charge is reasonable I won't take advantage unless and until Chopin is released for FS9.

After the description of Warsaw 2015, DD changed the phototextures to newer ones and added some buildings. There's no indication of airports (which are very good imho) being changed. I can't imagine that there are massive problems. However, I will upgrade not earlier than EPWA 2015 is available, too.

Regarding NY Airports, after Baku 2015 being effectively cancelled and LUKK 2015 popping up and then hiding again, I only believe in a product if it is really available.

Guys, I lost my patience and bought. No problems after a first test:

- new downtown skyscrapers

- partly new textures (still having very different colour shadings in different parts of the city)

- no loss of fps

- airports are perfect as before, particularly EPMO and EPBC (hopefully the coming EPWA will be as good as these)

- AES at EPMO works immediately

- freeware version of EPWA by Mateusz Stabryla (MK Studios) fits into Warsaw scenery quite good as it did before.

Guys, I see that you all can run the products of Drzewiecki Design.
I bought once UUEE but that scenery crashed all the time so I deleted it from my PC.

Now I'm curious how you guys manage to run any product of Drzewiecki Design.

Would be awesome if anybody could help me.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I never had the original version of Warsaw city, so I guess this scenery is worth getting.

You're welcome. I'm surprised more fuss was not made of the fix - there certainly was a great deal of noise about the problem in the first instance...

You're right on that, I did remove everything including the airport details as they suggested.
The airport become like an default one and I removed it at that point.

After that I never bought an scenery again from Drzewiecki Design, I was really disappointed.
At least I can use Sheremetyevo airport now, but I don't think that I buy anything again from them, The support on that scenery was really poor.
