I have updated and 99% realistic panel config files for the 700, 800, and 900. Since United moved to the new style layout. Taken from helpful users on the forum and looking at pictures online. Please let me know if you have any changes that can be made to make them more realistic or any helpful hints like typical flap takeoff/landing settings and cost index, typical descent speeds, etc. The 700 and 800 models all have different MCP styles depending on the aircraft, and standby gauges so you can mix and match, this is my preferred setup. I think the 900's all have lcd standby instruments and one mcp type - David Lee

pardon my question, but is this even allowed on PMDG aircraft?

what do you mean, you can use thsi panel config instead of the unrealistic one provided by pmdg. just copy and paste into the panel ini file

I think southwest has realistic configs on some of the repaints in the avsim library

 

Try a repaint by Ian Besemer or Chris Hicks

It is. Ideally, the person should be putting it in with a repaint, but what has been posted is nothing a repainter could do on his or her own (and is encouraged to do, as it takes the immersion of our products even deeper).

the PMDG has setting so that you can get ideally realistic to the real world. I cant see PMDG stopping anyone from doing this

Sorry for resurrecting this old topic, but where do we put these?  I used these a while ago, and remember putting them into a config file located in the specific repaint folder.  I don't see a config file in my 737 livery folders anymore.

PMDG folder in the sim directory, aircraft type, aircraft folder.
