Great pictures, as always!

 

Have you done anything to "whiten" your clouds? I think every soft cloud textures is very dark...

Hi again, Rich.

 

I tried these settings and although clouds are rendered in better shapes, they become even more dark, contrary to what I wanted. I applied the exact same tweak as you posted. Have I missed out on anything, or? I don't expect you to provide the solution but I thought you may have some ideas. I added some pics. Have a look :) I also checked different latitudes but same result.

Yes they will get darker - thats the point with this - you have to decide if you like it also your shot was not taken at the time of day as mine - darker the environment the darker the clouds - I like the contrast between dark and light - but may not be ideal for others

I fiddled around and played with the contrast. Ended up with some very decent looking clouds. Cant spot a black cloud anymore. I'm more satisfied with a white appearance on clouds, even on dusk/dawn transitions.
