Great work on these settings for your cfg file - I had most but not all - perfect for 4 core cpu''s - silky smooth now and graphics look better - well done YT poster

Agree with Skywolf, some entries do not make sense like:

RejectThreshold=126976   <== Besides the fact P3Dv2 should not use the FSX Bufferpool tweak, this entry can be deleted because this  will only work when UsePools=1

FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01  <== This value is outside the range which can be used so the sim will use the default value = 0.33

Really!!

@Rich

If this was for FSX I would get it but BufferPools & HIGHMEMFIX=1 in P3D ? Sounds odd mate.

This is  what I use.

Too much tweaking. Lets wait for skylake and get some more raw power instead.

Thanks for posting this Rich, always good to tweak!

My advice: don't tweak. Some of those tweaks are indeed not needed at all (bufferpools, highmenfix).

No...it's not always good to tweak. Some of those tweaks are obsolete at this point. Running a stock cfg and performance is just fine. And other than periodic OOM errors, which no tweak can solve, P3D 2.5 has never run better.

I really believe it is due to conflicting information that is being posted here.  One person says to do it this way and another says something totally different.  A preeminent expert in all things P3D would sort it all out.  In the short term though, I tend to agree with the others that overtweaking is not going to yield better results, otherwise known as AWC (Approach With Caution).

After spending good money on 4790k and gtx980 to run P3d and still get stutters, am willing to try any config. I'll set these up in Simstarter tonight. Thanks Rich!!!!

Will try your config to NyxxUk!

Rich, He's only got a dual core with HT enabled = 4 LPs, whereas 84=(01,01,01,00) is more suited to a 4 core with HT enabled = 8LPs and would render only one of his LPs active :}
