Umm...His question relates to the Navajo PA31, not the Cessna C310, or am I mistaken?

Perhaps I should have been more precise.

 

The Carenado Navajo is modeled as a Piper PA31-310, counter rotating props were used on the PA31-325 Navajo and PA31-350 Chieftain.


My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Yeah it's a very pretty aircraft model. I have quite a few hours in the Navajo type and feel right at home in this simulation. Could be a useful training tool, and I like how you can have a right seat view too in this one. After spending some time in the left seat, the perspective can seem a little different when you go back to it. The only thing I didn't like is that the course selector knobs are annoying to turn with the mouse wheel.

Now we have the Carenado Navajo 310 (C model) and alabeo Navajo Chieftain, here a pilot make a great review of the point of view by the pilot and the most important it's that the review leave clear that the Carenado Navajo have the system and flight dynamics correctly, making the Carenado Navajo one of the best pistons along with the Shrike Commander.

My question it's if the alabeo Chieftain have the same level of the Carenado Navajo speaking in the flight dynamics... It's the same panel with the difference that have a avionics more update (I prefer the analogue (....... So the pilots of Navajo that have leave their opinion here can compare this two beautiful navajos......

If you check this Alabeo PA31-350 review on YouTube from David Womacks, I think you'll find it very informative. This guy speaks quite favorably of the aircraft and has real world time in same.

My gripe about the Alabeo Chieftain is their choice of instrumentation.  The cabin of their Chieftain is set up in a commuter style, but the panel would be more appropriate for an updated executive aircraft or a Panther conversion.

I've read that the Chieftain panel it's a frame eat, the Navajo C with the original panel (analogue) seems that don't affect the frames, Carenado make a SP to the Navajo and the plane almost it's perfect,Chieftain have some bugs.... for example the cylinder Temps are too cool even with the cowl flaps full open, I'm just want to know with testimonials or experiences of real Chieftain pilots if the plane have a realistic behavior like the real....... Like the Carenado Navajo...
