No ILS at Montego Bay

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased LatinVFR Montego Bay for FSX. However, there is something adrift. The scenery is nice enough, but using Airbus or Boeing with the latest airacs, there is no ILS landing option for R7. I know there is one, as I can put the frequency in manually and then land on an ILS approach. But why does it not come up in the FMC as an option? Is it something to do with UTX TAC?? If so what to do about it.

The real ILS is currently out of service.

Is that an up-to-date FMC database ?

That would reflect it, wouldn't it ?

Actually, the last three airacs  have been the same. No ILS R7 as a landing option. However, as I said I can do an ILS approach after installing the frequency manually.

So the scenery has the navaid, but the Airac doesn't, because the real world doesn't have it operating currently, while the scenery is built on historical data.

That's your answer !
