LatinVFR Key West v2 FSX/P3D released

Recommended Posts

Just flew the PMDG 737 in there yesterday, RNAV 09. Looks very nice. No stutters, no hint of an oom. I'm running 4790/970.

Hello everyone,

I was hoping somebody could help me. I don't have an uninstaller for KEYW v1.2. Do I need to uninstall it before installing KEYW v2? If so, then how do I uninstall v1.2? I use FSX on Windows 7. Thank you for your help.

Version 2.1 is a complete install and asks where you wish to install it so it does not overwrite unless, I guess you direct it to the same folder.  So you do not need to uninstall first or you could just delete the whole thing before 2.1.  So I left the version 2 installed to compare.

Funny, with 2.1 I noticed a shimmer around the entire parimeter as I taxied.  At closer look I can see it is the parimeter fence causing this in P3D v2.5.  I flipped back to v2.0 and it is there too.   Guess I did not notice it before.

It appears the opacity of the fence is affect by autogen vegitation behind it as that's where the shimmering occurs.  Anyone else seeing this or is it my setup?  It's pretty noticable.

Hi,

you would need to remove the entry from the library and delete the folder for V1.2. Then run the version 2 installer.

As for the update 2.1, you don't need to unisntall 2.0.

regards
