Love your first Long Island shot. I spent childhood summers in a house in the lower right, just off the ramp for the Atlantic Beach Bridge. Learned to love airplanes there (about a minute's flying time from KJFK). Have never used photoscenery but now you've got me thinking about it. Off now to check it out...

My mix of Blue Sky & MegaSceneryEarth, unfortunately I don't have resources of HL James which covers the world in pay-ware scenery.

Yes...lots to see in California....turn north east from Santa Cruz, take Yosemite Valley to Mono Lake. Another good one is Redding to Shasta!
