new 355.60 Nvidia drivers W10

Recommended Posts

Latest drivers gives me a nice 10% boost in windows 10 single GPU, but still SLI issue with menu and rightclick mouse is the same though.

EKCH NGX A20 C&D 49-50 fps at 12.00 with normal settings and MT6 at 15% 8x MSAA and 1920x1200

I seem to recall that theoretically if you are running DX12, and have an onboard graphics card AND a third party add-on like an AMD or Nvidia, DX12 should be able to use both, in a kind of Heterogeneous SLI arrangement.......IF  you know what you are doing...grin...

I hear folks say their FSX and FSX SE are running great in Win 10 with the 355.60 drivers, but mine takes forever to load and will not go back to the opening screen after hitting ESC, only way to get it to shut down is to hit Enter, any ideas ??

There are no games yet that take use of the DX12 options and P3D probably won't do so anytime soon. It's not a matter of knowing what you are doing but waiting for support. ;)

Did you guys download this new driver manually or did it come with the automatic W10 update?

It depends on how you configured your update settings. The only automatic updates you can totally disable are driver updates, updates for windows can only be "deferred". The newest nvidia drivers are live on their website, and I ran DUU before installing 355.60.

I'm running them in W7 in SLI with no issues at all. Cannot say they are BETTER but they are not WORSE than 353 series.

Same here. No change in performance, but no worse.

ANY DX12 discussion is a complete red herring unless the software uses it.

P3D doesn't. Not at this time.
