FSC route export to PMDG FMC problem

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone -

In FlightSim Commander i have made a flightplan containing departure and arrival airport - i also added a custom waypoint. It seems that i am not able to export it as a file so i can enter it as a company route in the FMC of the 747-400X.

I must ask; do i need to link FSC to FSX in some kind of way?

Greetings from Gunnar

Hi, Gunnar,

Just looking at FSC, it says that it automatically finds the correct folder.  Presumably it finds the correct folder because you have set FSC to point to the FSX folder.  You do this in Flight plan>Save As and select the Paths tab.  Then make sure the path to FSX is correct.

I don't own the 747, but in FSX/PMDG/Flightplans there is both a top level folder for saved flight plans and a subfolder for the NGX and 777 (the two PMDG aircraft I have installed).  Have you looked around in the flightplans folder and its subfolders for the saved plan?

Also, I don't know if the 747's load flight plan function on the CDU can look in the top level flight plans folder, or if it must be in a subfolder called "747" or something similar.

Finally, you might have complications if you are using FSC on a remote computer, or if you are using it with FSX Steam version.

Mike

The 747 doesn't have a sub folder like the NGX and the 777, so flight plans should be saved in the FLIGHTPLANS folder. Ideally in RT2 format.
