Beta 9 seems to fix some authentication problems the digital download people were having - no release notes yet.

 

Everything seems good.

yep..... Beta9 fixes these issues..(An error occcured during update..Permission Denied..........)

 

all smiles again..

Just to be sure, there's no way for us Steam-customers to take part in these betas? I'm still on 10.36 here.

No way, sorry... earlier versions that Steam users are able to get are release candidates (one step before final), not less.
