ReShade 1.0

Recommended Posts

Anyone using this with Steve's DX10 fixer? I'm just not able to get AA looking just right (VC text and edge lines are always slightly jagged, even if settings like Lumasharpen are off). Would appreciate anyone sharing nVidia/DX10 settings.

I use Korn , how i can share my settings file ?

Screenshots would probably work best just to easily compare my own settings. Thank you.

I'm going to assume there's still no joy for users of multiple monitors with these tools, right?

Haha, I burst out laughing when I loaded the sim with the heat haze effect. It would be incredible if we could localize it to 2ft ground level, or engine exhausts. Otherwise, it looks like you're underwater!

On the website of SweetFX there are 2 profiles to SweetFX 2.0. Doesn´t work?

You can't just drop it in anymore. They changed the file construction. So no. You will have to implement it manually through the mediator.

What do you mean? This isn't ENB. It hooks into the DX11 dll

Well then I guess I mean to take a look at it! I was under the assumption that all of these post-processing injectors were no-go on dual monitors... but not being sure, I had to ask. Glad to hear it might be do'able for us dual users!

Cheers!

I have been tweaking Reshade now for about a month and finally got my setting during the day the way I want them(almost perfect IMO). The problem is at night, everything is completely black. Even with cockpit lights on, its barely visible. Has anyone had any luck with having good settings at day and night without having to change or load another master effect file? I think that may be my only option will be to have two different configs...

What I have been noticing is try shutting off hdr in p3d in the day time and back on for night dusk and dawn if your even using P3D - this works pretty good or just make separate configs in mediator - I find just shutting off hdr in day time easier but for some reason my fps are better with hdr on - still haven't found something I am totally happy with so still playing

I have mine working nicely with fsx se in dx10.  Heathaze and ambient light seems to work hand in hand. If I have heat haze on alone the whole screen shows the effect, but if I turn on ambient light also, it only shows on certain views which actually looks pretty cool. It doesnt mess with my view but if I turn my head to the left I can see a part of it on the wing.

Really cool

Give that a whirl. Adjust the settings from there. lumansharpen is optional.

I use watchdog_tonemap-customFX to get a brighter, slightly blue look. It looks more like daylight to me. First pic is Framework, second pic is stock FSX SE, third pic is with watchdog tonemap.

I am trying to use it in FSX SE one on windows 8.1 and the other on Win 7, but when I use Reshade it crashes the sims , the problem is with d3d9 and dxgi dll's.

Can you help me ?

Definitely a keeper for me. Didn't have enough time to play with it but it does miracles with just small changes. Here's my preset so far with modified LEVELS; LIFTGAMMA/GAIN, TONEMAP, CURVES. This is P3Dv2 with HDR - off
