Is it normal for Airbus a321 to flight around 920 kmh cruising altitude irl?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm a new comer.

In FSX if anything goes faster than 340 nt, the overspeed warning will alarm but in real life why the plane goes beyond 920 kmh equal to 500 knot?

Are you a real life A321 pilot?  If you are a passenger on a flight and looking at the screen showing the

aircraft's position and speed, it is probably refering to Groundspeed at cruise altitude flying somewhere

near MACH .80-.82

Yes, I'm a passenger and when I see those screen saying 920 kmh I was like 0.0

I think you'll find this is the difference between Indicated Air Speed and true airspeed. IAS will vary depending on altitude.

Oh, thank a lot I finally see the different.
