Aerobask ViperJet is Released!

Recommended Posts

As the title says: it's out, newly released at the dot org.

I've been checking the org at least four or five times a day for this; I guessed it was imminent since I saw the Aerobask website change a few days ago, and there was a google gallery of images for it uploaded by Nicolas Taureau at the org a few days ago as well.  Yes... I may have been looking forward to this one a wee bit...

I know what I'm doing tonight!!

Looks gorgeous even just sitting still.  Great looking assortment of instrumentation as well.  Plus it goes plenty fast... Should be a nice combination of fun to fly and comfortable to cruise in.

Blah!  But I just purchased the DDENN Challenger not a week ago!  Plane looks sweet for sure.

I actually don't see the link do you have one?

Jimmy, I see nothing on the Org forums nor the Org Store for this one?

The Aerobask site just says "coming soon".

(That's not a reliable indicator in the X-Plane world unfortunately; the IXEG 733 has been "coming soon" for the last 25 years lol)

Hmm.... it was up earlier.  Was priced at $21.95 if I recall.

I'm a little sad, since I just sat down at my PC, wallet at the ready.  Was posting at work previously.

Now I'm going to spend my evening hitting refresh on my browser...

Shoulda purchased while at work, but I usually wait until I'm home to do any e-commerce type stuff.

PS: Just so no-one thinks I'm hallucinating:

(and fyi, that page now says "product not available" or somesuch..)

Still not out yet

I know!  On one hand, if it's not released yet, it means it wasn't ready quite yet; I don't mind waiting if it results in a better product.  However, on the other had, the 'almost' release had me all excited!

Since it's now been out for a few hours, and has stayed out this time (it made a very brief appearence yesterday morning as well), I shouldn't be too premature to say it's been released!

Hesitantly, in case it disappears again, I'm going to say that I'll be flying it tonight...

Agreed was a great value - would be a 35 dollar addon in fsx

I like the quirky planes Aerobask do but after getting their Lancair I can't help finding their textures a bit cartoony and plasticky. That's what's putting me off this one too, although a civvie jet would be great fun.

They do kinda - probably because there's no metal type shine for XP. Well the DDEN challenger has something but it's a bit overdone.

I find most XP addons to be plasticky looking. Some aircraft like LES Saab look superb though
