Nvidia Inspector in windowed mode.

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I have a question regarding the Nvidia inspector program.

Do the settings in Nvidia inspector still take effect when running FSX in windowed mode?

Also, if I update my nvidia driver, do the Nvidia inspector settings get deleted?

Thanks again.

Callum.

Yes except the vsync settings

No unless you do a clean install

Reason I ask is because I have started to fly in windowed mode because I run dual monitors and I have noticed the frame rate limiter isn't doing it's job anymore.

I'm not familiar with the fps limiter. I have used the fsx limiter .bat file before on windowed mode

I run in windowed mode on Windows 7 Pro, using Nvidia Inspector.

I have the NI frame rate set at 30, and unlimited within FSX and imy frames stay pretty close to 30, with the occasional drop for intense scenery, etc.

I just reset my settings in Nvidia inspector. A few settings had changed, I suspect because I installed the latest Nvidia driver.

All working fine now.

Thanks.
