Ignore weight and ignore forces

Recommended Posts

Under the realism settings there two settings I'm not sure if I should keep checked or not. They are called 'Ignore weight' and 'Ignore forces'.

I know I read about this somewhere in the past and what was the preferred setting and why but can't remember where and did some searching on the net now but haven't been able to find a solid answer.

Anyone?

I would say it is irrelevant unless you have the pro plus version, as it refers to attachment of weapons . Prepar3d.cfg reflects the setting in the section [ATTACHMENTS] but as yo cannot attach anything it makes no difference.

Thanks Jorge, what you say makes perfect sense and is how I've been thinking about it too.

Still I have this vague memory I read somewhere in the past these options can make a difference also in an aircraft model such as the NGX, can't remember though is the options should be checked or not.

Oh well, will keep them checked for now and change it should I remember/find the answer somewhere.

They should have a "IGNORE FLIGHT MODEL", and provide an external one...  That would be really great :-)

Well, the Q-400 does it... and my PSX too, so, I do not need such an entry ....
