Flightbeam's KSFO HD(v2) coming soon!

Recommended Posts

Looks like it could be 1-2 weeks away.

Read this

"I've done some pretty technical optimizations to this to take much more advantage of your GPU, so if you're running P3D in particular with a nice graphics card, you will get the best performance scenario."

Its looks breath taking. IMO I think there the best out there for large airports. This looks like another level up again!.

Good news but I'm naturally critical over the potential VAS usage that comes with such high quality mega airports...

I never have any VAS problems with KIAD KDEN KPHX, I hear what your saying and KSFO is in a huge pop area but am sure like there older version it will shine. With there older version FSDT KLAX to KSFO was no problem at all.

Good news and long awaited addon, but I can't open your links.

What links?

It is a reasonable worry of course.

However Mir, the FB developer, says KSFO v2 will have even better memory management than the now legacy version, which never gave me any memory headaches.

My suspicion is that it's the surrounding area that's a bigger problem.

Still, I will say that I won't be carrying couatl over into P3D.  It was pretty unpleasant when it broke in FSX a couple of months ago and I had to work to get it working again.  Tough decision but that's what I've decided.

For some reason they decided to work now haha ... Wow! What a beauty. I can already imagine myself approaching sfo with a fully loaded 747v2 .. It'd be amazing  :( haha

I am aware that FlightBeam products has vastly better VAS management than other producers, but as previously mentioned, the surrounding area will also influence memory usage. Anyway, no need to be concerned before the product is even released

FB is some if the best scenery on VAS - it's the orbs scenery that's a killer.
