Unable to load flightplan: destination Airport not found

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I created an Excel spreadsheet to convert a list of coordinates into a rte file with costum waypoints. A first test from EDDM to EDLP in the NGX worked, but an other flight plan from EDDM to ENKR is not readable ("Destination Airport not found in rte file")

The destination airport at the end of the unreadable rte file:

ENKR
1
-
1 N 69.72500 E 29.88780 282
-----
0
0

1
282
-
-1000000
-1000000

Full EDDM-ENKR rte is here

The working EDDM-EDLP rte is here

Is there any documentation of the rte format available?

when i build a route to there in simbrief the entry looks pretty similar:

ENKR
1
-
1 N 69.725 E 29.888 282
-----
0
0

1
282
-
-1000000
-1000000

i dont know if the extra digits on the latitude and longitude should make a difference or not, that seems to be the only difference tho.. sorry i don't have any specific info about the format

cheers-

It's because Norway isn't a real place. It's a mythical land of dubious actual existence. Plus, only very odd people come from there. I mean, really, we had a god who beat people with an oddly shaped hammer...let's be real...

In all seriousness, it might be whatever program you're using to format the rte file. Try building the route manually in the FMC, save, and compare it.
