Screen Capture

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Wondering if there is a way to automatically save screen captures as hi-res jpg and not bmp?

Cheers...

Use a screenshot program and not the default screenshot command.

Bandicam is usually pretty good. The demo/trial has unlimited time (only a 10 minute recording limit), so you don't have to buy it.

Which doesn't have a lot to do with making a screenshot . You might as well name FS Recorder as well because that is free ( but again used for filming not screenshots ) .

Surely the software supplied with your card whether ATI or nVidia do have this function where you can choose between bmp , jpeg or png .

Just open the .bmp in windows paint and save as a JPEG.

That's just too much bloody work! Grabber2k* has been my capture program of choice for over ten years now. Push Print Screen key. Done. Will save an infinite number of named image files to a folder of your choice.
