Anyone Using Taburet 3D Lights ?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone i just bought Taburet 3D Lights for the Caribbean areas. The problem is that it's killing my FPS. My frame rates will go down from 23FPS to 2FPS. I know the problem might be caused by having FTX Global Light running with Taburet 3D Lights. I try contacting the developer but no answer as of yet. These lights should have a similar function as Aerosoft Night Environment which is compatible with FTX Global Lights. I have search the forum and i have yet to find someone reporting 2FPS using Taburet 3D Lights.

Hi!

I recently bought Taburet Austria, Norway and Germany/Denmark and I am very happy. The developer (Raimundo Taburet) has been very very helpful with some issues. First of all, I was not happy with the big lights very close to some runways in Norway. I emailed him this and two days later he sent me updated files. Magnificent!

In large cities this addon takes a huge chunk of your FPS, but for me it never goes under 18-19 FPS, for instance in the NGX approaching FlyTampa Vienna. Look here - http://www.avsim.com/topic/473649-decided-to-try-taburet-night-environment-was-not-disappointed/

What are your computer specs?

Hi

My first thought was why would you need a light package if you already have Global light coverage.are they a  bit sparse in the caribbean??

Running 2 light packages would bring any computers to its knees i would have thought, especially with bloom.

Nice screenshot that's why i bought his product. To me he has the best looking Night Lights in the Caribbean. When i was comparing real screenshot here at TIST i was very impress with how similar it looks to the real Night Lights here in Saint Thomas US Virgin Island.

As for my Spec i plan on Upgrading from my current CPU which is

Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition OC 4.8

GPU - EVGA GTX980 TI Classified

Ram-32GB (4x8GB) PC12800 DDR3 1600 Dual Channel

Well for some reason FTX Global Lights stop showing completely around the Caribbean Islands. Also it doesn't look very realistic. I don't know why I'm only getting street lights for FTX Global.

You're upgrading from this rig? What are you considering buying to replace it?

I'd kill for a computer like that.

Imho Night Environment is way better. But for countries that are not covered by NE the packages from Raimundo are better than default or FTX/UTX lights.

I like Taburet  3D lights . I compare both real Night Lights with Taburet and the similarities are speechless. The only problem i have with Taburet 3D lights are that roads and highways night textures look to  orange.  I wish that the roads could look like this. By the way you going to  have to fast forward to 4:26

I think you have to use the FTX Lights configurator and just set everything to default, or?
